Bummed that the bars are closed? Getting tired of the boring drinks you can make from stuff you have at home? A company called Sourced Craft Cocktails is offering bottled beverages delivered to the doorstep of drinkers in New York, Dallas, Austin and San Francisco.
The menu includes staples like margaritas and old fashioneds, some custom creations, or just go with the Bartender’s Choice and let them surprise you. You can get a good drink, and do some good, with a portion of the proceeds going to the United States Bartenders Guild’s Bartender Emergency Assistance Program. Each order comes with a bottle of liquor, a batched cocktail mixer made from fresh fruit and juices, and a shaker. Each bottled cocktail makes 12 drinks, and if you order by 3 p.m. you can get your order the same day.
I love this idea, and I love that proceeds benefit out-of-work hospitality employees! Too bad it's not yet available in Baltimore...but there are localliquorthat are making beverage delivery available, so at least we have options!
