Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers and his wife, Abby Smyers, are celebrating eight years of marriage on Tuesday (May 13).
Abby shared throwback photos from the couple’s wedding day on Instagram to mark “8 years married to my ice cream loving husband who I love more than words could ever properly convey,” she wrote in her caption. “[Dan Smyers], thanks for walking through absolutely everything with me. I would not be me without the support, love and confidence in me that you show every single day. I love you so much, happy anniversary. ♥️”
Dan replied in the comments, “love you so much ❤️❤️” His duo partner, Shay Mooney, was one of many commenters to wish the couple a happy anniversary. Mooney tied the knot with wife Hannah Mooney in October 2017. They’ve welcomed four sons over the years. Baby No. 4 made the Mooneys a family of six earlier this year.
Dan + Shay delivered their debut studio album, Where It All Began, in 2014. The 12-track record included “19 You + Me,” “Nothin’ Like You” and more. Since then, the award-winning duo became known for “Bigger Houses,” “Tequila,” “10,000 Hours,” “Speechless,” “Glad You Exist” and more throughout their career.
