2020 has been a challenging year, but there were really good things that happened this year! Country stars are some of the most giving people and here are a few moments that lifted spirits and helped others.

1. Dolly Parton Helps Save the World

Dolly Parton not only read bedtime stories on her YouTube Channel , released a Holly Dolly Christmas album to spread Christmas cheer, she DONATED $1 million to help fund Covid 19 research that was partly used to fund the Moderna vaccine.

Dolly is a national treasure.

2. Luke Combs Delivered Guitars to Help Veterans

Watching Luke Combs surprising Veterans who were learning to play guitar to deal with PTSD was priceless! Crashing through the warehouse during one of their lessons with a Ford truck bed full of guitars was so fun to watch. Guitars for Vets is the charity, and it was cool that he stuck around and they played a song together!

And Luke Combs also brought a welcome relief of some good news in 2020 by getting married to Nicole.

3. Carrie Underwood Duets with Her Son on "Little Drummer Boy"

Carrie not only shared a beautiful song and shared a wonderful experience with her son, she shared some of the behind the scenes with us while recording with Isaiah Fisher. Reminding us of the gift that 2020 gave a lot of families, more time with each other.

4. Tracy Lawrence Fries Turkeys and Performs to Feed the Hungry

Tracy Lawrence has raised over $1 million over the last 15 years by frying more than 500 turkeys every Thanksgving in Nashville to feed the hungry. This year, his friend Chris Young, Tim McGraw, Cole Swindell, John Rich and Mitchell Tenpenny performed with him virtually as well. And though they didn't charge anybody, good hearted fans donated over $125,000

5. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood Entertain and Keep Us Sane Online and On TV

There's something that is so calming when Garth and Trish get together and have conversations with each other and the fans, and then sing together.They continued to do this all through the pandemic from Studio G (Garth's studio at home). Thanks for taking care of our soul during 2020!
