Brad Paisley Surprises Houston Coffee Shop With Acoustic Show

Brad Paisley playing a pop-up coffee house show makes the "perfect blend." You’re welcome.

Brad warmed up for Saturday night's performance at RodeoHouston by surprising patrons at Blue Door Coffee Company with an acoustic concert on Friday night. Alongside his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, children, and parents, Brad serenaded coffee enthusiasts with an intimate performance that lasted over an hour and included his biggest chart-topping hits, “Ticks,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” and “Alcohol.” To top off the evening's entertainment, Brad also included an unreleased song called, “No I In Beer."

Brad, who happens to be close pals with the coffee shop’s co-owner Chad Gauntt, had been promising that he would play at the storefront since its opening.

Gauntt who opened the shop in November shared in a statement, “He’s a huge coffee guy. He said, “I’m gonna play there. I promise you, and every time we would talk, he’d ask.” Gaunt introduced Brad to the coffeehouse stage by his first and middle name, “Bradley Douglas” to keep the performance a complete surprise for those who didn’t know.

150 unsuspecting guests warmly welcome the performance which quickly became a talking point for serious JAVA FOMO on social media when Brad blew his cover. The Blue Door Coffee Company shared an image on Instagram alongside the caption, “No big. Just @bradpaisley doing an acoustic set for us tonight at Blue Door. Thanks for the Blue Door love, Brad!”
