Trisha Yearwood is following in her husband's footsteps and is coming back out of her musical hiatus.
The singer announced on Tuesday that she is signing with Sony Nashville, the same label that her husband, Garth Brooks, joined. Not only that but she's ready to release her 12th studio album, "PrizeFighter," sometime in the near future, although an exact date wasn't announced.
""I can't even find the right words to express how excited I am to be releasing new music," said Yearwood. "I chose the title 'PrizeFighter' because it feels like an anthem for all of us. It's about fighting for what you believe in, and never giving up, even when it's hard. It's a message we all need to hear. I'm so looking forward to working with the amazing staff at Sony. Music is what feeds my soul, and I'm grateful to them for giving me the chance to share what I love."
Yearwood's last album, "Heaven Heartache and the Power of Love," was released clear back in 2007. This is turning out to be quite the year for Yearewood who will be joining husband Garth Brooks during his World Tour starting September 4 in Chicago.
