Last Friday morning at 10:00 AM Garth Brooks tickets went on sale for the first show of his comeback tour.

The first date is in Chicago which is set for Sept. 4 at the Allstate Arena. So are you wondering if anyone still cares about old Garth? Well let me start by telling you it will be the first show GB will be playing in the Chicago area in 17 years!! SOOOO, tickets went on sale at 10AM, and by 10:35, another show had been added. That was quickly followed by a third, then a fourth, and the ticket frenzy continued until a total of 10 shows were on the books. Brooks sold a total of 180,000 tickets to the upcoming run of concerts in less than three hours. Garth Brooks has shattered his own previous record of 141,717 ticket sales in Chicago. Yeah, he still got it.
