According to a new study, driverless cars – like the ones Google developed and has driving around – could reduce city traffic by an estimated 80 percent.
These cars would have to be coordinated into a sharing system, but the idea that there would be 80 percent fewer cars jamming up the streets and freeways of cities is staggering.
The downside, of course, is that you might occasionally - or often - get stuck sharing one of these cars with an annoying tool.
