The Air Force women’s basketball team scored the first two points of Saturday’s game at Moby Arena.

Call it a courtesy basket from CSU to allow the Falcons to lead once in the game. During the next seven minutes, the Rams scored 14 consecutive points on the way to a comprehensive 88-28 win.

"We definitely made it a point to come out (fast)," senior Sam Martin said. "We said 'they’re not winning from the first minute. Don't let them think they can win.' "

After that run, the game was never in doubt, as Colorado State University (18-4, 10-1 Mountain West Conference) completely controlled play, and the Rams maintained a two-game lead over Fresno State atop the Mountain West standings.
